GTM Search is partnered with an HRTech business to help them hire an Account Executive.
We’re looking for AEs that’ve sold in the HRtech space to HR personas, specifically to organisations that are 500-15,000 headcount (sweet spot is circa 1-5k employees).
This is a unique opportunity to join an already established organisation with a strong name and product in the market, specifically in the employee engagement space. That has recently brought in a Sales Director who is revolutionising their GTM strategy. In this role you would work alongside the Sales Director and SDR to form part of the new founding sales team off the back from some recent investment.
There will be SDR & marketing support, but we’re definitely looking for those that are able and interested in sourcing their own opportunities whilst working closely with the other functions.
This role would be hybrid working, at their head office in Hertfordshire.

The AE will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities within our strategic markets. This role focuses on building a robust sales pipeline, delivering tailored presentations to prospective clients, and closing contracts.
Responsibilities include:
● Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities within strategic markets.
● Build a strong pipeline of prospective clients through networking, cold outreach, and partnerships.
● Conduct tailored product demonstrations and presentations to address prospect needs and challenges.
● Develop, negotiate, and close proposals and contracts, collaborating with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions.
● Identify Opportunities: Research and analyse target markets to identify potential clients and business opportunities.
● Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to uncover new prospects.
● Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through proactive networking,
strategic cold outreach, and forging partnerships with key stakeholders.
● Leverage tools to track and prioritise leads effectively.
● Prospect Engagement: Initiate meaningful conversations with potential clients to understand their pain points, needs, and business goals. Position their platform as a tailored solution to drive value and address challenges.
● Product Demonstrations: Deliver impactful, customised product demonstrations and presentations that highlight the platform’s unique benefits and relevance to client needs.
● Proposal Development: Collaborate with internal teams to craft persuasive proposals and presentations, clearly outlining the business value and ROI.
● Negotiation and Deal Closure: Lead the negotiation process, addressing objections and aligning solutions with client expectations to secure contracts. Ensure a smooth transition from sales to delivery teams to guarantee client satisfaction and successful implementation.
● Represent at industry events, conferences, and webinars to generate leads and showcase the platform.
● Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to develop and refine go-to-market strategies for new offerings, ensuring alignment with client needs and market trends.
Skills/Experience Required:
● Minimum 3 years of experience in a sales or business development role, within the HRTech space
● Proven track record
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present confidently to senior leaders.
● Strong negotiation and closing skills.
