GTM Search is partnered with a market leading Fintech business that services that recruitment industry. They provide recruitment agencies with a range of funding, back-office and technology solutions to help them run successful and profitable businesses.
We’re looking for a BDM to either work hybrid (if local to south west) or on a remote basis with occasional travel if they live further afield.
Specifically looking at candidates that have experience in invoice finance, selling to the recruitment industry in some other capacity e.g. umbrella/payroll services or another piece of recruitment technology.
Key Responsibilities;
- Identify and close new business sales opportunities in order to exceed personal targets within their finance solution
- Proactively use and expand existing network of contacts to generate new leads
- Self-generation of leads along with closing out marketing leads
- Create a network of New Business introducers
- Work in a hybrid method of F2F and virtual meetings, with the majority being virtual
- Prepare due-diligence files on all new customers, in collaboration with admin support
- Collaborate with our on-boarding team to ensure all new clients have the ability to trade efficiently
- Keep regular contact once trading to identify referrals and cross selling opportunities as part of the self-generation process
- Stay up to date with all developments in sales techniques and market/industry trends
- Keep pipelines up to date, recording detail of all contact on the sales database
- Update and maintain the sales department’s documentation and databases, highlighting any improvements needed
- Manage expenditure within targets/company policy
Key Skills:
- Proven track record of B2B experience in the Financial Sector
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Exceptional time management and organisation skills
- Strong commercial awareness
- Understanding the recruitment industry would be desirable but not essential
- Highly self-motivated, with the ability to work as part of a team
- To be goal-orientated and driven by success
- Strong work ethic
