Senior Account Executive – DACH Region
A high-growth, Series B, AI-powered enterprise SaaS company is seeking a high-performing Senior Account Executive to spearhead new business growth across the DACH region.
As a founding member of the European sales team, you will be responsible for full-cycle enterprise sales of an AI-powered conversational roleplay training platform to leading organisations across telecommunications, financial services, technology, manufacturing, automotive, and business process outsourcing.
This is a quota-carrying role focused on new logo acquisition and strategic account development within the DACH market. You will own the complete sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through negotiation and close, selling to Learning & Development leaders, Sales Enablement executives, Chief Learning Officers, HR decision-makers, and IT stakeholders at enterprise organisations.
The ideal candidate combines a strong consultative selling background with fluency in both German and English, a passion for AI technology, and a proven track record of exceeding quota in complex B2B enterprise software sales.

What You’ll Sell

- Data-Driven Coaching – Provide leadership with actionable analytics on skill gaps and performance trends
- Multilingual Capabilities – Native German language support with culturally adapted AI personas
Key Responsibilities
New Business Development
- Own and execute the full sales cycle from initial outreach through contract signature for new enterprise accounts across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland
- Build and manage a robust pipeline through proactive prospecting, networking, industry events, and collaboration with SDR and marketing teams
- Engage L&D leaders, Sales Enablement executives, Chief Learning Officers, HR heads, Works Council (Betriebsrat) contacts, and IT stakeholders
- Develop account strategies, map complex German enterprise structures, and build multi-threaded relationships
- Consistently achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets
Consultative Selling & Value Creation
- Conduct deep discovery to understand training challenges and success metrics
- Position the platform as a strategic solution with measurable ROI
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations in both German and English
- Build quantified business cases in Euros
- Navigate complex European procurement processes including Works Council consultations, GDPR reviews, security assessments, and legal negotiations
Sales Process Excellence
- Apply structured sales methodologies (MEDDPICC, BANT, SPIN)
- Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline data in CRM
- Partner with Solutions Engineering and Customer Success for smooth implementation
- Support regional marketing and demand generation
- Coordinate compliance reviews including GDPR, TPRM, and security questionnaires
Required Qualifications
- 5–10 years of B2B enterprise software sales experience with consistent quota attainment
- Native or business-fluent German (C1/C2) and professional English
- Experience selling to HR, L&D, or Sales Enablement functions
- Complex 3–9 month sales cycles
- €50K–€500K+ ARR deal sizes
- Experience navigating Works Council consultations and GDPR compliance reviews
- Strong consultative selling skills
- CRM and structured sales methodology experience
- Comfortable engaging C-level stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
Preferred Experience
- SaaS sales within learning tech, sales enablement, HR tech, or training
- Experience selling into telecom, financial services, enterprise software ecosystems, manufacturing, or healthcare
- AI / ML product exposure
- LMS integrations (Cornerstone, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Docebo), CRM integrations, SSO
- Experience selling into large German, Swiss, or Austrian enterprises
- Knowledge of GDPR and enterprise security standards
- Experience in a high-growth startup or scale-up environment
- Existing DACH L&D / HR network
